Reliance Jio has announced a new 'Work From Home' plan for its prepaid subscribers in India. This comes at a time when corporate offices, firms and businesses are encouraging its employees to work from home and practice social distancing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. 
The new prepaid plan is priced at Rs 251 and listed under 'Work From Home Pack' on the company's official website. Under the plan, customers will get 2GB of 4G data per day with a validity of 51 days. The internet speed will be reduced to 64kbps after the completion of daily high-speed internet quota.
Jio is also offering a Rs 101 prepaid plan that offers 12GB of data and 1000 minutes for Jio to now-Jio calling benefits with a validity of your existing Jio plan.


Besides the new Rs 251 prepaid internet plan, the telecom giant is additionally providing various broadband plans at a starting price of Rs 699 in India. 
It had recently also made some changes to its 4G data plans which were launched in 2018. The company is now offering double data benefits with its Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51, Rs 101 plans which means subscribers will get 800MB, 2GB, 6GB, and 12GB of data, respectively. The plan will also bring an extra 75, 200, 500 and 1000 minutes of off-net IUC calling to other network operators, respectively. These revised plans do not have their validity period and will last until your existing recharge plan.
